We Crossed Our Wake Today in Mobile Bay, AL

Mom is trying to help me write about crossing our wake, but we just received word early this morning that one of the best judges in Butler County & dad's buddy, Judge Craig Hedric passed away this morning at 55.
We all can't wrap our heads around it since he took such good care of himself!!! ...Great guy, hubby and family man...It's going to be so hard to see his wife, kids, folks and friends... We are making plans to leave the boat and go back for the funeral. Craig planned Mike's "Retirement Celebration" and gave the most heartfelt speech...we have known he and his family for such a long time...

As thrilled as we are about achieving our goal of completing America's Great Loop, the day has been so sad; as dad and mom have fielded texts, phone calls and emails about Craig's passing.

We know we have covered approximately 6,000 miles of waterways, 112 locks, not sure how many lift bridges, nor do we have the diesel fuel consumption amount figured since we aren't home yet...
It has been an incredible adventure and only wetted our appetite for more...(after  M & D have some knee repairs done on themselves!)  First things first, they have to get us home from this one first!

 Hey, It's GH3 with Tom N Tracy

Fins is following us today

Here is us crossing our wake courtesy of GH3

Wasn't sure what this was suppose to be???
