"Docktails" on the Flybridge

Sue was sweet enough to bring me treats! I love her!!! :-) I so enjoyed having them on the boat, but they were gone too soon!!! They all took off on M & D’s dingy and left me behind...How Insulting?!
Dad and Bob returned briefly to return the dingy, but NO sight of Mom and Sue. It turns out they docked at the wrong restaurant, Hudson's; so Mom and Sue walked to the Boathouse, two restaurants up; while Dad and Bob returned the dingy and got the car…(knowing it would be too dark getting back). Dad didn’t want to navigate on unknown waters after dark…Smart Captain!

Judge Hedric’s told us about the best restaurant: Skull Creek Boathouse…Mom had a crazy entree featured on the Food Channel: Blackened Catfish with Cajun spices, homemade pimento cheese, Savannah red rice and collard greens…She said, “It was simply incredible!!! “ Mom and Dad said everyone loved their food and tried to eat as much as they could…Hard to do since it was a lot!!! Even their bread, mom said was delicious, which surprised me, since mom hasn’t been eating much bread lately!!!
Sue and Bob dropped M & D off around 9:30…to all us boaters it seemed like midnight; especially since it was so dark at this end of the island! The worst part is NO DOGGY BAG!!! It’s the least they could have done instead of coming back talking about the amazing food! HMMPHF!

Don’t know what got into mom this AM but she decided to make us oatmeal with fresh stewed cinnamon/honey apples and pistachios…It worked for me!!!
Mom has that look in her eye like today is the day, I’m getting my bath for sure…don’t know about the grooming?! Know I heard them talking about the fresh water wash down Moondance got, (rain) that they are going outside to wipe her down…then, they are probably going out on Sovereign to see Hilton Head & maybe Bluffton; if they can find somewhere to tie their dingy…

Love this photo Sue was able to shoot with Moondance in the background.

Having "docktails" with Sue and Bob on the flybridge...It was too hot with the setting sun and no breeze to stay up there
long...

The island you see in front of those white posts & building was underwater just a couple of hours before...
